New Training! Webinars: Winter 2014

Hong Fook had such a positive response to it’s two-day Journey to Promote Mental Health training series that we have been given the opportunity to design  three, two-hour webinars. Two will be offered in English and one in French.

The webinars will further strengthen participants’ knowledge on mental health and provide skills to apply intervention strategies.

New Training! One-Day Advanced: Fall 2013 – Winter 2014

Hong Fook had such a positive response to it’s two-day Journey to Promote Mental Health training series that we have been given the opportunity to design a new one-day advanced session.

The advanced training will further strengthen participants’ knowledge on mental health and provide skills to apply intervention strategies.

Topics will include:    

• Cultural norms and mental illnesses
• Mental illness (classification and early identification)
• Self-care (prevent professional burnout, vicarious trauma, compassion strain)
